Nitin Gadkari the Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation in the Government of India has confirmed his presence at the World’s Largest Health & Medical Camp to be held in Mumbai on 11th February at Malwani and organised by Dr Dharmendra Kumar and team. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the camp on Sunday morning.
Bigg Boss 11 contestant Arshi Khan, Bhojpuri actress Sangeeta Tiwari and several other celebs are endorsing and supporting the Maha Arogya Shibeer or World’s Largest Health camp at Malwani, Nevada Putman told media persons in Mumbai on Thursday at a press conference.
Putman told media persons that a professional eye check up would be done and after the “no” was determined by specialists, the spectacles of the appropriate lens would be ‘gifted’ to the underprivileged individual. He has invited all the people from Andheri (East & West) to benefit out of this medical camp and the FREE distribution of spectacles. The lens is also UV (ultra-violet) protective and will also serve a dual purpose. R K HIV AIDS Research & Care Centre had created a Guinness World Record for the “Largest Sexual Health Awareness” – mega healthcare movement, ‘Swasth Zindagi’, – one of the largest medical camps held on 19th Feb 2017 at the MMRDA Grounds, BKC in Mumbai.

Over 52 hospitals from all over Maharashtra, thousands of doctors, paramedical doctors and volunteers joined the movement catering to the needy, who are unaware of the benefits and medical schemes they are eligible for. The biggest challenge in implementing the primary health care principles is of equitable distribution of health care to all.
Speaking to IndiaScribes.com, Dr Dharmendra Kumar said, “the rural masses and urban slum dwellers are most vulnerable to the lack of access to health care, and R K HIV AIDS Research & Care Centre aims to bridge this gap. The underprivileged and the slum dwellers in India continue to have poor access to basic determinants of good health as well as to the curative services from government sources during illness as the masses are indifferent or not aware of the various medical schemes and benefits available to them. ‘Swasth Zindagi’ by RK HIV AIDS is one step towards this cause. All major diseases will be covered at the medical camp like kidney or liver ailments, ENT ailments, HIV, cancer, heart ailments etc.,” he explained.
