Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Water Resources Minister Nitin Gadkari confirms presence at World’s Largest Health Camp at Malad

Nitin Gadkari the Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation in the Government of India has confirmed his presence at the World’s Largest Health & Medical Camp to be held in Mumbai on 11th February at Malwani and organised by Dr Dharmendra Kumar and team.

Bigg Boss 11 contestant Arshi Khan  who was voted by Google as the second most searched entertainer of the year,  has also teamed up with two NGOs – R K HIV Aids and Nevada Putman Foundation to promote the cause to provide free health services including health and Life Insurance to over 5 lakh under privileged individuals and kids in Greater Mumbai including Thane, Navi Mumbai and Virar. The organizers will distribute over one lakh FREE spectacles to the needy, she said, while endorsing the project.

A huge health camp is being organized at Malwani in Malad on 11th Feb 2018 where hundreds of doctors and para medics will tend to the medical and health needs of the masses, said Arshi Khan’s spokesperson Flynn Remedios.

The Chief Guests, Patrons and organisers of this huge event include, Nitin Gatkarii – Minister Govt of India,   Devendra Fadnvis – CM Maharashtra,  Piyush Goyel – Rail Minister Govt of India,  Vinod Tawde – Education Minister Govt of Maharashtra,  Gopal Shetty – MP Mumbai,  Dr Dharmendra Kumar –  Chairman, .Dr Viral Desai  – Medical Director,  Dr Hrishikesh Pai – Sec General,  Dr Rohidas Waghmare Adviser –  Medical Committee, Brijesh Singh – Vice President Admin, Prem Kumar Pandey –  Director Finance, Shatish Upadhyay –  Director Planing,  Riyaz Ahmad – Director Public Relations, Nevada Putman – Chief Adviser Planing, Flynn Remedios – Celebs & Media.

R K HIV AIDS Research & Care Centre had created a Guinness World Record for the “Largest Sexual Health Awareness” – mega healthcare movement, ‘Swasth Zindagi’, – one of the largest medical camps held on 19th Feb 2017 at the MMRDA Grounds, BKC in Mumbai.

Over 52 hospitals from all over Maharashtra, thousands of doctors,  paramedical doctors and volunteers joined the movement catering to the needy, who are unaware of the benefits and medical schemes they are eligible for. The biggest challenge in implementing the primary health care principles is of equitable distribution of health care to all.

Speaking to IndiaScribes.com, Dr Dharmendra Kumar said, “the rural masses and urban slum dwellers are most vulnerable to the lack of access to health care, and R K HIV AIDS Research & Care Centre aims to bridge this gap. The underprivileged and the slum dwellers in India continue to have poor access to basic determinants of good health as well as to the curative services from government sources during illness as the masses are indifferent or not aware of the various medical schemes and benefits available to them. ‘Swasth Zindagi’ by RK HIV AIDS is one step towards this cause. All major diseases will be covered at the medical camp like kidney or liver ailments, ENT ailments, HIV, cancer, heart ailments etc.,” he explained.

Arshi Khan claimed that the camp at Malad on 11th February will be bigger and larger than any other health camps held so far any where in the world.
